Vertex Construction of San Antonio, TX, has been awarded the contract to install a StormX Weir Wall Trash Trap in Riverside Creek, marking a significant step in the ongoing effort to maintain the city's waterways. This project involves the intricate process of keying into the existing concrete-lined channel and casting concrete piers, which will securely anchor the 30-inch StormX units. These units are specifically designed to intercept and capture trash before it can flow downstream, ensuring that Riverside Creek remains clean and ecologically healthy.
Building on this momentum, a second project is slated for next month, also awarded to Vertex Construction, which will see the installation of a large Bandalong Litter Trap in Alazan Creek. The Bandalong Litter Trap is another advanced solution designed to tackle the persistent problem of waterborne trash, further demonstrating San Antonio's commitment to environmental stewardship.
