Students from Washington Yu Ying School Visit the Bandalong Litter Trap
Groundwork Anacostia River DC hosted an educational outing for a group of 36 students from Washington Yu Ying School in Washington, DC. The students visited the site of the Bandalong Litter Trap in Marvin Gaye Park to learn about the litter and the effects on the Anacostia River.
These outings make the most out of the Bandalong Litter Trap’s educational component by involving the public. Project Director Vaughn Perry educated the youth on how the Bandalong Litter Trap works. See more pictures below:
